What Julien likes most of all about photography is the contrast and the possibility of satisfying a furious curiosity.
At night, he oscillates between the Silencio and the Philharmonie de Paris. The day between the backstages of fashion shows, portraits of classical and pop musicians (Wagram, Universal, Emi, Naïve), the Amman Image Festival in Jordan, for which he commissions the French part, and J’Adore Ce Que Vous Faites! his studio near the Canal Saint-Martin.
In 2018, he presented his work “Screen Love” (Intervalle Gallery) at the Unseen Amsterdam Photo Festival.
His images can be found in the pages of the New York Times, Libération, Le M du Monde, the late Voxpop, Elle, le New-Yorker, Grazia, the Agnès b. picture rails or in the Paris subway. And to pass the time, it is the return to the earth’s sources that occupies him: the Auvergne, its volcanoes, its vineyards.
